We are the largest stockist of coal in Gwynedd and have a wide choice of Solid Fuels to suit all appliances and budgets.
Pre-packed coal is available in 10 kg or 20 kg sealed bags, or 50 kg open sacks for tipping on delivery.
Our range includes three different House Coals for Open Fires:
Big pieces of coal which give off good heat and last a long time. Suitable for open fires.
Good sized coal giving excellent heat and very little ash. Our most popular of the house coals.
Small pieces of coal providing high heat and very little ash. Easy to light.
We stock seven types of Approved Smokeless Fuels suitable for Multi Fuel Stoves and Closed Appliances;
A shiny irregular shaped coal, similar in appearance to house coal, mined in South Wales.
Ideal for room heaters and boilers, giving high heat and leaving a cinder which can be burnt the following day. Excellent at keeping fires going overnight – closing the flue lets the fire slumber.
Similar to the Anthracite Stovesse, only larger. Mostly used on cookers. Lasts a long time.
A softer anthracite burning with a lovely flame, has similar properties to open fire coal. Less expensive than Anthracite Stovesse or Large, leaves a cinder which can be burnt the following fire.
Premium Ovoid, made from anthracite dust, for room heaters and stoves. High heat and burns to an ash.
A harder ovoid with a lovely flame. Burns at a high temperature and leaves very little ash residue.
Large briquette, suitable for open fires and stoves.
A smaller, hard ovoid, suitable for stoves and room heaters.
Non-Approved Fuels suitable for Multi Fuel Stoves and Open Fires include:
Our most popular ovoid by far, due to its heat, flexibility, and cost. Gives off high heat and has very little ash. Not suitable for smoke controlled areas.
A large briquette suitable for stoves or open fires.
A blend of Welsh Anthracite and Pet Coke, giving high heat and lasts long. Leaves a cinder residue.
